Erin Seed Lending Library will open for 2018 this Wed night March 21st at the Erin legion eco film "The Peel Project"
Doors open at 6:30, movie at 7pm. My goal with the Seed Library is to get more people to grow some food for themselves, try something new, grow something with your kids. Get your hands in the dirt. There might be one less truck load of cherry tomatoes driving up from Mexico this fall. Borrow, Grow, Return. You can do it!!! It is free. Choose some seeds of something you would like to grow. Sign them out so I can keep track of inventory. Grow some delicious fruit, veggies, herbs, or beautiful flowers. In the fall, bring some seeds back to the library from what you grew or from something else. Seeds are very easy to find if you look for them. They are inside the fruit, or under the spent flower head. See some seed finding tips on my website. After the launch Wed night, the seed library will be located within the Centre 2000 book library, on the window sill. Thank you very much. Jen
